uesday Night Training at West Park School in Spondon, east of Derby is a great way to help yourself get the right result from the cyclo-cross season.
By kind permission of the school, I have been allowed to organise training sessions on the school grounds. The school is large, and sprawls across a hillside, which is illuminated for security reasons by night. Safe, lit, off-road training with a qualified coach in attendance is now freely available every Tuesday at 7.30pm. Meet at the West Road entrance to the school.
Most of the coaching is focused necessarily on the younger attendees, particularly those who are pupils at the school. It is thanks to these children and their enlightened teachers that this resource has become available. Anybody who needs help with any physiological or skill related aspect of their training is welcome ask, and the evenings activities can be altered to help.
If you require more in-depth one-on-one coaching and training advise, please contact me on 01332 672927 or mail me at
